16:24 = Just click on the link I just posted. 16:23 = Hi! Any invitation for the meeting today? 16:17 = Hi! is there any connection for the meeting today? 16:11 = I see you have your encoder disk on this side.
21:10 = Great! What modifications are you carrying out? 23:02 = Had to find the right connector. 20:52 = I also assume you are running the servo on the tractor 12v battery. 20:30 = Will it still turn the wheels if the tractor is sitting on the ground? 20:27 = First test of the steering servo: 21:11 = Step 1 and 2 instructions listed here are ready for review and edit. "ROS Robotics Projects" by Lentin Joseph. 13:18 = I'm not sure if this was the book mentioned in the 1st meeting but if not it looks like a good ROS specific resource. 01:10 = Correction it is a half of a turn of the small gear to go from center to lock.
It takes just under one turn of the small spur gear to go from center to full right/left. You could use your spring scale again to check that. Another thing you could verfiy would be to measure the force it takes on one of the push rods. Also, while you are meausuring that, measure the rotation angle the big gear plate goes through for the same travel. You need to measure how many turns of the pinion gear it takes to go from stop to stop on the steering. I think the Super200 claims 300 degrees of rotation. You can't mount your servo directly to your pinion gear. I would hold off buying parts until he makes it work. 19:16 = He is experimenting with step 15 and 16. 18:07 = There is one left, do you think that would work for my lawnmower? Can I go ahead and buy one?
What item number on the group plan are you working on? Google returned a set of brackets that at least show how the servo can be connected to brackets (i.e. I would start with fabricating something out of wood or wire to get a basic model. 16:52 = Mounting the super servo for steering. 18:05 = Here is a variable speed library for servo motors. 16:33 = This is where we should post questions 16:29 = set the channel purpose: Project discussion for automated lawn tractor.
